              Projects

Automated Material Handling System for a Rolling Mill Plant

The project aimed to design and implement an automated material handling system (MHS) for a steel rolling mill plant, ensuring efficient, continuous material flow and minimizing production bottlenecks. The goal was to handle a production rate of 30 steel bars per hour while ensuring 80% availability.

Redesign of Just-in-Sequence (JiS) Process for Harness Wire Production

The project focused on redesigning the Just-in-Sequence (JiS) process for the production and delivery of wiring harnesses used in front-end modules of vehicles. The goal was to improve logistical efficiency, reduce production costs by relocating the manufacturing to a foreign location, and ensure timely delivery with minimal environmental impact while meeting the OEM's high product variation requirements

Control System Design for Automated Conveyor Process

The project aimed to design and simulate a control system for an automated conveyor process using RoboDK software and KRL (KUKA Robot Language) for code simplification. The system involved multiple conveyor belts, sensors, and a rotating turntable, emphasizing process automation and operational efficiency through simulation.

              Strategic Supply Chain Optimization

This project involved overseeing all departments (Purchasing, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain Management) in The Fresh Connection simulation, a collaborative supply chain management exercise. The focus was on improving supply chain efficiency, reducing inventory holding costs, and enhancing cross-department collaboration while maintaining strong financial performance across multiple rounds.

Design of Hydrogen-Fueled Propulsion System for an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)

This project focused on conceptualizing and designing a hydrogen-fueled propulsion system for a Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) to support sustainable aviation efforts by minimizing carbon emissions and enhancing energy efficiency.

Optimization of Material Management in the Store Department

This project focused on optimizing material management practices within the store department at AMUL Dairy, Anand, to improve warehouse efficiency, reduce lead time, and enhance material traceability. The goal was to streamline the handling and storage of packaging materials while ensuring better space utilization and reduced labor efforts.
